ELOPEMENTS.
An elopement is an intentionally small, intimate, meaningful, and authentic wedding experience that is a true reflection of your relationship where the focus of the day is really about the two of you.
Elopements are designed for intimate, informal gatherings, a great option suitable for couples who want something informal and stress free but do not want the “Courthouse” environment.
INTIMATE WEDDINGS.
A micro wedding is any ceremony and/or reception with less than 50 total guests. Couples often combine an elopement and a reception to create their micro wedding, but the day is 100% about you so you have the option to do both with a smaller party. Some married couples even choose to do a micro wedding for their anniversary or vow renewal.
A WEdding with all of your family and friends.
A traditional wedding focuses on the marrying couple's heritage, and fuses culture and a party atmosphere to ring in a new marriage. It's all about incorporating traditions from both cultures, both families, both communities and sharing that love with those that want to be there to celebrate you.
VOW Renewal.
A marriage vow renewal ceremony, also known as a wedding vow reaffirmation ceremony, is a ceremony where a married couple renews or reaffirms their original marriage vows as a way to celebrate and display their commitment to one another.

Your Guests Will Think We've Known Each Other for Years.
The best compliment I receive isn't about how beautifully I speak.
It isn't about the stories I tell.
And it isn't even about the happy tears.
It's when someone pulls the couple aside after the ceremony and asks,
"How long have you known your officiant?"
The answer surprises them.
We met because you were looking for someone to marry you.
But through thoughtful conversations, detailed questionnaires, and a collaborative writing process, I get to know who you are, how you love, and what matters most to you.
The result is a ceremony that feels as though it could only have been written for the two of you.
One that allows you to be fully present.
One your guests will talk about long after the last dance.
One that marks the beginning of your marriage exactly the way it deserves.
Because your ceremony shouldn't feel like the part everyone waits to get through.
It should feel like the reason everyone remembers your wedding.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Every ceremony I create is written from scratch for the two of you.
I don't fill in names on a template or recycle someone else's love story. Your ceremony should feel like it could only belong to you, because it can.
After getting to know you through my in-depth questionnaires, conversations, and everything you share about your relationship, I begin writing a ceremony that reflects your personalities, your journey, and the life you're building together. Whether your style is romantic, lighthearted, traditional, non-traditional, or somewhere in between, your ceremony is created specifically for you.
After more than 25 years as a Chicago wedding officiant, I've learned that no two love stories are ever the same. Your ceremony shouldn't be either.

One of my favorite parts of the process is getting to know the two of you.
A few months before your wedding, each of you will receive your own "Dig Deeper" questionnaire to complete separately. The questions go far beyond "How did you meet?" They're designed to uncover the little moments, shared adventures, inside jokes, values, and memories that make your relationship unique.
I also learn about your families, what marriage means to you, your vision for the ceremony, and even the little quirks that make people smile when they hear your story.
Because each partner completes the questionnaire independently, I often discover wonderful details neither of you realized the other had shared. Those insights help me create a ceremony that feels authentic, personal, and unmistakably yours.
-
Yes, absolutely.
I want you to walk into your wedding day feeling excited and confident about every word that's being shared.
About a month before your wedding, I'll send you your ceremony draft in a shared Google document. You'll have the opportunity to read through everything together, leave comments, ask questions, and request changes. Whether you'd like to add a story, adjust the tone, shorten a section, or simply change a few words, we'll make sure it feels just right.
By the time your wedding day arrives, there won't be any surprises, just the excitement of hearing your story come to life.

Absolutely!
Writing personal vows can feel overwhelming, especially if you're not sure where to begin. That's why every couple receives my Personal Vow Writing Guide, filled with prompts, examples, and tips to help you write vows that sound like you.
If you'd like additional guidance, I'm always happy to answer questions, offer suggestions, or provide feedback while you're writing. My goal isn't to write your vows for you. It's to help you find the words that express what you already feel.
Whether your vows are funny, heartfelt, emotional, or a little bit of everything, I'll help you feel prepared and confident when it's time to share them.
-
As many as we reasonably need.
Most couples only request one round of edits, but if something doesn't quite feel right, we'll continue refining it together until it does.
This is one of the most meaningful moments of your wedding day, and I never want you to feel like you're limited by an arbitrary number of revisions. My goal is for you to read your ceremony and immediately think, "Yes...this feels like us."
As long as revisions are requested before the final version is prepared for your wedding, I'm happy to make adjustments so your ceremony feels exactly the way you envisioned it.
The ceremony sets the tone for everything that follows, and I believe it deserves just as much care and attention as every other part of your wedding day.
