Fun facts about carla
I lived in the Tampa/St. Pete area of Florida for 12 years. Eckerd College drew me to the Gulf Coast, my love for the beautiful beaches kept me in paradise. I’ve been back in my home town of Chicago since 2013, but always welcome a reason to spend time in Florida.
Guilty pleasure: True crime documentaries and podcasts, my hubby loves to play this SLN skit for me {HERE}
Favorite me time - my mani & pedi at Magnifique Nail Salon on North Ave. in Old Town. Fenny is THE BEST, she keeps my nails ceremony ready and picture perfect!
Free time: Getting a chance to make memories with the people I love.
Way I like to give back: Some might call me a crazy cat lady, but I am just passionate about saving the lives of cats. Cat rescue and fostering are important to me.
Best part of what I do: The meaningful authentic moments that happen during a ceremony. Sometimes I’m overwhelmed with the enormity of the little things and get choked up with you. I always have a moment standing with my couple humbled to be doing what I love, in such a sacred space. It’s really more of a joy than a job.
Getting dressed up to stand along side you makes my job even more fun!
