A Band She Never Did Hear Play and a Wicker Park Inn Microwedding

One of my favorite things about being a wedding officiant is meeting amazing couples and hearing their love stories’. The spark of love often arrives in unexpected ways, in unexpected places, no two stories exactly the same!

Sometimes the spark of love is even a dinner out with family where a cute boy in a band is setting up for a gig. Then thanks to Facebook and an inquiry about upcoming gigs, a connection being made. It didn’t take long for their first date to be planned at a nearby breakfast diner. Ryan told me, “I remember thinking that she was very pretty and funny, I couldn't wait to meet her in person.” (By the way, Katie never did get to hear Ryan play with his band, Strike 3.)
